    Caro Manuel Calavera,

    come stai? Io bene, grazie. Ma potrei stare meglio! Però anche peggio, e allora magari non mi lamento. Aspetta, mi racconto. Sono un bambino di 36 anni e vivo sulle isole Fær Øer. Mi chiamo Heralv, mangio obazda e salmone affumicato, ascolto Temples of Boom dei Cypress Hill e lavoro nelle assicurazioni: non hai idea di quanta gente si assicuri sulle isole Fær Øer! I più si assicurano che stia piovendo. Io mi affaccio dal mio ufficio, mi bagno e faccio loro presente che in effetti sta piovendo. Da un po’ nel mio ufficio abbiamo messo un computer, poi visto che c’eravamo l’abbiamo acceso e abbiamo collegato dei fili, tanto per fare qualcosa. Un giorno, mentre cercavo “manuel calavera” su google.fo, sono capitato per caso sul tuo blog. Il tuo blog mi piace molto, Manuel Calavera: mi fa molto ridere che tu sia morto e viva a Trieste. Mi fanno molto ridere anche le storie buffe che scrivi, Manuel Calavera. Poi quando avrò imparato l’italiano credo che l’apprezzerò anche di più: per ora mi faccio aiutare a scrivere questa lettera dal mio collega, Olof, che ha vissuto sei anni a Tricase, e parla italiano meglio di come tosi le pecore. E sì che Olof è un campione a tosare le pecore: pensa che una volta un signore italiano gli voleva fare una foto, a Olof che ha i baffi biondi, mentre tosava una pecora. Sopra la pecora doveva starci una signorina marrone, molto bella, e la pecora doveva avere una maglia dell’Olympique Marsiglia e intorno c’erano degli altri ragazzi con la macchina fotografica che imitavano il signore italiano, certi guardavano le chiappe della signorina marrone, io mi chiedevo dove avessero trovato una maglia dell’Olympique così larga. Olof comunque ha detto che se non se ne andavano da soli li inseguiva con il coltellaccio. L’italiano e i ragazzi si sono spaventati e sono scesi a valle urlando. Siccome però non c’era la nave per Ancona sono rimasti tre ore al villaggio e si sono sbafati tutto quello che c’era al bar. Quando siamo andati giù, io, Olof, la pecora e la signorina marrone che non aveva capito niente, abbiamo trovato solo tramezzini al krill. Da allora Olof ce l’ha con il Veneto e con i Toscani, ma tu sei di Trieste e quindi vai bene. Scrivi qualcosa, Manuel Calavera, perché qui è quasi arrivato l’inverno e a parte scommettere sul campionato cinese non abbiamo quasi nulla da fare. Se scrivi un post lo dedichi a Heralv, Olof e al mio gatto Hákun? Ci terremmo tutti e tre. Se poi parli bene di noi e delle nostre isole ti regaliamo un paltò e del muschio per il presepe.

    ti chiamo del tu perché ormai io conosce molte cose di te: che vive a Trieste, che ascolta musica giovane, che parla cirillico, che piacciono a te orsi e che abita vicino a bar dove fanno spritz Campari. Io donna di est, vive in piccola Berlino democratica e abita in via chiamata Piccola-Sotto-I-Tigli. Miei passatempi sono: ortobotanica, scrivere poesie su trattori, passeggiare in piccolo parco simile a vostro Miramare e leggere tuo bello blog. Solo che tuo blog non ha fìd, e io torna tutti i giorni per vedere se tu scrive. Tu però non scrive, e così io perde tempo.     Caro Manuel Calavera,

    mi chiamo Reto Angst e vivo in un piccolo paese della svizzera italiana.

    Qui a Vernate, quando non andiamo alle scuole di tiro nei boschi, o a litigare con i turisti che vogliono rubare i campanacci delle nostre mucche (che tra l’altro cosa se ne fa un turista di un campanaccio per mucche? Qui a Vernate abbiamo un po’ di teorie in merito. Tipo che anche loro hanno delle mucche ma senza i campanacci, e ci vanno a sbattere contro perchè non le sentono arrivare, oppure li mettono ai bambini così non li perdono. Boh, in effetti non sappiamo granchè dei turisti da queste parti) siamo tutti molto preoccupati perchè è un po’ che non scrivi.

    A me piace molto leggere il tuo blog e mi piace soprattutto quando metti le immagini, specie adesso che non vedo più la tsi perchè ci vuole una roba che non si capisce bene dove si compra per vederla di nuovo, e io mica ho capito perchè se prima la vedevo, adesso senza quella roba (che non ho) non si vede più. Io non so, ma qui a Vernate siamo tutti d’accordo che se una televisione che non si può vedere, non ha grande utilità. Ho provato a chiedere al Bigio perchè tutti questi cambiamenti, ma non mi ha risposto perchè ha cambiato il numero del natel, e allora ho pensato che in fondo è normale che tutto deve cambiare, così magari l’ambrì piotta riesce a vincere il campionato, una volta o l’altra.

    Allora la sera certe volte prendiamo la macchina, mettiamo su i bilux perchè qui fa scuro presto e arriviamo a Lugano, solo che poi a Lugano è tutto chiuso, così torniamo indietro.

    Invece quando si va sul tuo blog è bello perchè c’è sempre tante cose da leggere, e una volta mi è anche venuto in mente che potevo impararlo pure io, il cirillico, così poi capivo cosa scrivevi, ma poi ho pensato che mi perdevo il gusto di leggere la tua spiegazione, e allora ho deciso che per adesso non lo imparo.

    Qui a Vernate non è tanto normale essere preoccupati, perchè pensiamo che se uno non scrive avrà anche i suoi motivi. Però dopo tanto che uno non scrive iniziamo un po’ a preoccuparci, perchè noi mica li sappiamo i motivi, e allora uno si preoccupa.
